7 Days Tour from Shanghai to Huangshan

Upon arrival at Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to the hotel. The rest day is free to have the chance for shopping or to explore this booming city at your own pace.

Pick you up from your hotel in Shanghai. Then visit Jade Buddha Temple. Located in the northwest corner of the city, this temple was built in 1882 and enshrines two jade Buddhas brought from Burma to Shanghai. The original temple was burnt down and was replaced by this new temple in 1918. It was built in the Song Dynasty style with curved eaves and figurines on the roof. There were many monks on the ground. It was closed for about 30 years and reopened in 1980. It has three main halls connected by a central courtyard. The peaceful and extraordinary atmosphere adds richness to our busy modern society.

Next stop is Yu Garden. This is a traditional Chinese garden and one of the best instances of the art of gardening in this country. It's situated in Huangpu District, very close to the Old City God Temple. There are many opportunities to pick up souvenirs at Yuyuan Market.

Then visit old street-Chenghuangmiao Street. After that, take a short visit up to Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

Continue to visit Nanjing Road. This is a long road with many shops. It may be the main shopping road in Shanghai. You have Nanjing West Road. To visit the Bund, you need to stand out from Nanjing East Road. We found it more pleasant to walk here at night.
Last, transfer you back to your hotel.

Pick you up from your hotel. Then visit Zhujiajiao Water Town, located in Shanghai's Qingpu District, is one of the six largest ancient towns in Shanghai. It is also known as the Venice of the East.

After lunch, transfer to the railway station to Huangshan City, and check in the hotel of Huangshan downtown.

Pick you up from your hotel. Then visit Cloud Dispersing Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon. After lunch, you will return to the foot of the mountain by cable car. Last, transfer you to the airport or railway station and see you off.

Pick you up from your hotel. Then visit Tunxi old street, which is Located in Tunxi (屯溪), the central district of Huangshan City. Tunxi Old Street is a stone pedestrian street lined with old shops and restaurants in restored buildings, some originally dating back to the Song Dynasty, done in the traditional style of the region's Huizhou culture.
Stay overnight in Tunxi.

Visit Hongcun village, a charming traditional Huizhou village. Hongcun is best known as the film site of the Oscar-winning film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. You'll be able to bike around the village with your guide (additional fee applies) and also visit a local family where you'll have the chance to gain a better understanding of the life and traditions of the local people.

After tour, transfer to Huangshan North Train Station. Upon arrival, pick you up and transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai.

See you off by transferring to the Airport.
