Terra-Cotta Warriors
Discovered accidentally in 1974, this incredible army of over 7000 soldiers, archers, horses and chariots in full battle array has guarded Emperor Qin's tomb since 210BC. Each figure is unique, and the painstaking repair and excavation continues in 3 pits which are protected inside huge hangars. 1.5 hours from Xian, there is also an excellent museum and film about the history of the vaults. Photos (no flash) are allowed. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Qin Tomb
Situated at the foot of Mount Li and 2 km west of the Terracotta Army, is the tomb of the Qin Emperor. Though this is a very tourist-oriented site, it was once one of the grandest mausoleums ever seen in the world. Today, it is hard to imagine the incredible glamour and grandeur that must have surrounded this tomb in 221 BC.

Huaqing Hot Spring
The spring water contains limes, sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, and other materials, which makes it suitable for bathing and the treatment of quite a few diseases such as dermatitis, rheumatism arthritis, and muscular pain.

Day Itinerary:

Pick-up from your hotel at 09:00am.
Escorting you to the the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses for about two-hour sightseeing.
Lunch time is at 12:30am
Moving to theHuaqing Hot Spring attraction at 14:00pm for one-hour visit.
The full-day sightseeing ends at Qin Tomb around 16:00pm, and return to the city center by 17:00pm. (L)
