Shanghai Extension Tour

Day by Day Itinerary
Days : 1 Arrival in Shanghai
Upon arrival at Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to the hotel. Continue to visit the Bund, a popular promenade along the Huangpu River, where the old meets the modern in Shanghai.  

Days : 2 Shanghai
This morning, you will visit the Shanghai Museum, a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land. After lunch, you will also tour the Old Town with its winding alleyways, lined with shops, teahouses and restaurants, and to the elegant and tranquil Yu Garden. You will attend the thrilling Shanghai Acrobatic Show after dinner.(B+L+D)  

Days : 3 Shanghai - Lhasa
After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will meet you. This morning you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple with its fine collection of carved jade statues. Fly to Lhasa. Arrive at Lhasa Gongar Airport and transfer to hotel, take a rest to get acclimatized in the afternoon. Dinner at local restaurant.(B+D)  

Days : 4 Lhasa
Today you will visit the magnificent Potala Palace. Have lunch and take a short rest. In the afternoon, go on visiting the Sera Monastery, then you will move on to the Norbulingka Park and have dinner at the hotel.(B+L+D)    

Days : 5 Lhasa
Your adventure begins at the Jokhang Temple, then you will move on to the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. After lunch and a short break, continue to visit the the Tibet Museum and the Tibetan medical centre. Then you will move on to the Carpet Factory and have dinner at the hotel.(B+L+D)  

Days : 6 Departure from Lhasa
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to take a departure flight to your next destination.(B)
