After 20 minutes drive, Karo-la Glacier will be in your eyes. It has a beautiful fame of "Ice Queen"  on the roof of the world. It's approximately 5,600 metres north of the major peak of Karo-la Mountain. You will have a long-distance of this masterpiece of nature. You will reach a valley and see Manlha Water Control Project from a distance afterwards. It is situated in Gyantse County, which consists of a dam, flood water discharge tunnels as well as a power plant. The power plant established capacity compasses 20,000 kilowatts. The project will allow for irrigation for over 43,000 hectares of farming area. After lunch in Gyantse, drive to Pala Manor. Pala Manor is the best-preserved manor in Tibet. It is around 10 minutes driving from Gyantse downtown. It will present you the life-style of the former wealth possessors family. The Pala Manor we visit now still holds 57 houses on an landed estate of 5000 square metres. The maze of rooms is luxuriously decorated with delicately sculptured beams and painted rafters. You are able to experience how exceedingly rich life they had at that time. Nevertheless, by contrast to the luxuriousness of the lairds, the whips, ankle-irons and penalization cells that were applied for controlling and persecuting the poor slaves and their broken, narrow, moist and dark rooms will deeply astonish you forever.
