Today's adventure begins at Tian'anmen Square, the largest public space on earth. Passing through the Heavenly Peace Gate and walking into the Forbidden City, you will step back in time and home to the Imperial Courts of Ming and Qing Dynasties for more than 500 years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, one of China's most photographed attractions, where the Chinese Emperors were known, worshipped the gods and prayed for good harvests. This evening, you will enjoy the traditional Beijing Duck Banquet Dinner, then

The Longmen Caves was first constructed in the Emperor Taihe's Reign of the Northern Wei Dynasty (488 AD), from north to south where there are over 2,300 holes and niches, 2,800 steles, 1,300 caves and 100,000 statues. Most of them are the works of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the flourishing age of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Lots of historical materials concerning art, music, religion, architecture, medicine, costume and calligraphy, are kept in Longmen Caves. Fly to Shanghai and transferred to the hotel.(B+L)
