As an artist garden decorated by plants and sculptures, Beijing Sculpture Garden boasts of its leading positions in China's garden and park industry.
The Highlights of the Beijing International Sculpture Park are over 30 sculptures by teachers and students of Sculptures Department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts allocated into three scenic spots. These sculptures, made of stones, copper and woods or even modern new material, have different styles and diversified subjects. There are five exhibition rooms in the court, in which, artistic exhibitions on painting and calligraphy, photography, stamp collection, root carving and bonsai are held all year around.
Inauguration of the 2002 Beijing International Urban Sculptural Art Exhibition also saw the opening of the Beijing International Sculpture Park on Yuquan Road, Beijing. The park houses 140 statues. This exhibition is aimed at promoting exchanges and cooperation among sculptors across the world,integrating urban sculpture into everyday life, and encouraging innovation in this sector.

The works on display are Beijing's latest attraction, and add a touch of modernity to this ancient city. Some are to be placed in sports stadiums during the 2008 Olympics.

How to get there, take Line One subway to Yuquanlu Station.
The park is 10 metres southwest of the subway.
